Neighbourhood Policing Week

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Anti-social behaviour - General, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

This week is Neighbourhood Policing Week, a chance to highlight the work Cleveland Police do to keep our communities safe. A big focus is tackling antisocial behaviour — things like intimidation, damage, and groups causing disruption that make people feel uneasy in their own streets. Officers work with partners to identify those responsible, support people who need help, and take action when behaviour doesn’t improve.

Local teams are also targeting the ongoing issue of off‑road bikes and quads being ridden illegally around estates, parks, and footpaths. These bikes can be dangerous and disruptive, and officers are carrying out targeted patrols, gathering information from residents, and seizing bikes being used illegally.

Neighbourhood policing is about being visible, listening to the community, and dealing with the issues that matter most. If you see your local team out this week, feel free to stop and chat — they’re here to help.
